Cleaner

Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor, you will be part of a small established team undertaking a range of day-to-day cleaning activities across the manufacturing site, ensuring that all aspects of hygiene and cleanliness are established and maintained to a high standard. The role will include but not limited to the following:

• Working as a team, undertaking planned cleaning of the factory on a day-to-day basis.


• To ensure that all waste is removed from the factory and segregated in line with waste management procedures


• To have a full understanding of all chemicals and machinery and scope of use.


• To fully understand and be committed to Health & Safety at Work Act.


• Identifying good practice and taking appropriate action where breaches may occur.


• To report all hygiene or H&S breaches/hazards within the site to line manager and or H&S Manager.


• To follow all Company policies and procedures at all times.

To be considered for the role we are looking for the following:


• Recent experience working within a commercial cleaning role.


• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.


• Working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.


• Understanding and knowledge of chemicals associated with role.


• Effective communicator with all levels.


• Ability to work well independently and/or part of a team.
