Full Job Description

The role of Cleaner will include:

  • Providing a personalised domestic service to customers, fulfilling housekeeping, cleaning and domestic tasks to meet customers' needs

  • Ensuring a clean, comfortable and safe environment is maintained in the communal and service areas

  • Responsible for the daily use of housekeeping equipment

  • Monitoring of stock levels and reordering of supplies, Sanctuary Group encourages and welcomes applications from people from diverse backgrounds to support our commitment to offering an inclusive environment for our employees and customers.

  • We work closely with the Home Office in order to prevent illegal working.
    An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be necessary in the event of a successful application which we will pay for.
    Sanctuary Supported Living is a trading name of Sanctuary Housing Association and Sanctuary Home Care Limited, both exempt charities.

  • Experience is not essential however some experience of undertaking general housekeeping or domestic duties would be desirable

  • An approachable, caring and compassionate attitude is essential

  • Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong "can-do" attitude

  • Ability to demonstrate a competent level of numeracy and literacy

  • NVQ2 in Hospitality and Catering or willing to work towards, is desirable
