Children's Suppor Worker

We are a small friendly team providing truly person-centred care to a young girl who has cerebral palsy. Our client has complex care needs and requires full support for all aspects of her care, communication and mobility. Our client lives at home with her family.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
· Passionate about providing person centred care
· Experience in care and support of children or young people with complex care needs.
· Experience of working in the community.
· Flexible approach to care and availability to work a variety of shifts on a rota basis.
· Including Waking nights Monday to Sunday from 9pm to 7am with flexibility to cover day, evening, weekend shifts as needed.
· Great communication skills.
· Flexibility in approach to care,
· Ability to act on own initiative and work as part of a small team
· Positive and friendly personality.
· Clean driving licence is essential to this role.

We are looking to recruit part time staff to join our small friendly team to work in the home setting.
ZERO HOURS CONTRACT ROLE AVAILABLE
The successful candidates will be available to work a variety of shifts.
This role requires you to work waking nights 1 - 2 nights per week, with flexibility to work daytime shifts, evening shifts and occasional weekends as needed.
The client's home is in a rural setting so successful applicants will need to have transport to get to and from work. There is no public transport to the area.
This provides a great opportunity to work closely with one young client and really make a difference and the opportunity to develop and further your care skills.
Rate of Pay:
Up to £15.50 per hour weekdays and weekday waking nights
Up to £17.50 per hour for weekends and weekend waking nights with enhancements for bank holidays., In return, we can offer:
