Full Job Description

  • Prepare and cook a variety of food following recipe cards

  • Effective day to day running of busy College Refectory.

  • Responsible for all food production and food production management system.

  • Be able to manage a team effectively

  • Placing orders and stock taking

  • Accounts/bookwork

  • Knowledge of all aspects of Food Safety including allergen management

  • This is a fully "hands on" operational role.

  • Responsible for all aspects for ordering and completion of all on company systems.

  • Provide excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers and co workers.

  • A DBS check will be required to complete your application

  • Previous management experience and cheffing experience essential

  • Have excellent customer service skills

  • E learning is available through our online learning system to obtain Food safety level 2/3 certificate and Health and Safety.

  • Be a confident chef and leader, Chef: 1 year (preferred)

  • Cooking: 1 year (preferred)


    • Licence/Certification:
  • Driving Licence (preferred)

    £14 per hour

  • Full time - 37.5 hours per week - Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm

  • 39 working weeks per year - term time only
