Full Job Description

We are looking for a professional Chef de Partie Chef to join the team at this busy 3 star hotel in Looe, catering for residents with Al a carte table d'hôte menu, a brasserie, and busy function trade.

The hotel is located overlooking Looe bay having a year-round business offering guests comfortable accommodation, a spa facility and extensive leisure facility.

This represents a great opportunity for the successful applicant to work within a professional team together with an opportunity for further development.

Duties include

  • Prepare menus in collaboration with colleagues


  • Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations


  • Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc.)


  • Follow the guidance of the Head or sous chef and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes


  • Put effort in optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality


  • Ensure compliance with strict health and hygiene standards


  • Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation
