Chef / Cook

To take responsibility for, organising & controlling the efficient & economic production of quality food within the allowed budget, whilst maintaining high standards of hygiene in line with EHO regulations.
Be capable of providing for special dietary requirements.
Liaise with the home manager when planning/costing menu's.
Supervise & instruct kitchen staff in the use of all equipment & hygiene procedures.
Ensure stock rotation, assist in the ordering of stock, checking deliveries, maintain accurate of food supplies, and fridge/freezer temperatures
