Full Job Description

Schneider Electric is seeking a highly motivated Channel Distribution Manager to define and implement the channel commercial strategy for the distribution channel both traditional partners and e-commerce players, own the commercial policy, drive compliance and ultimately secure growth in the channel, whilst protecting market price position and margin. Through strong leadership nurture the channel team and the early talents in the apprenticeship roles.
This role drives the future shape of our channels operational deployment and allows us to innovate in our channel set up, work better with our partners and is the key link between sales and marketing.
Your role would be key to Driving the growth and increased market share through the owned channel, including the operational support and governance of Commercial Policy transformation establish robust reporting and analytics of the channel to identify opportunities for growth, marketing activation, and competitive displacement.
This includes the ownership of sell out/point of sale data to drive clear actions. Execute the Channel management transformation into Digital Channel management, ensure the E2E digital customer relationship is in place and frictionless Act as champion and change agent within the channel, researching and implementing improvements and key transformations to future-proof our network.
Maintain the structure and governance established through the Commercial Policy Follow and review the Sales execution, providing a clear link between channel marketing teams and sales leadership/teams. Ensure the channel's profitability and appropriate market share is gained or maintained.
Your responsibilities:
# Drive the annual commercial policy structure and deployment internally and across the network.
# Lead the channel team across their broad remit, covering channel marketing, e-commerce and the apprenticeship program.
# Create the right culture and encourage the behavioural values that will facilitate a strong DNA, continual improvement and the right succession plan.
# Ensure a robust management of the distribution network against performance and behavioural measures and KPI`s.
# Build and deploy in-conjunction with the wider channel teams, promotional and growth initiatives.
# Execute and maintain a rolling 3-year plan for the distribution network.
# Ensure continuity of messaging between Partners, Key Accounts and broader sales community.
# Support on the deployment of new offer launches and strategic activities into the channel.
# Ensure that the Channel facing digital platforms are accurate and reflective of the Channel needs working with digital teams to share feedback and potential enhancements.
# Support on the rebate transformation topics from a commercial perspective.
# Drive the transformation required for the Marketing Development Fund (MDF)
# Own the forecast for the Channel and the reporting of the performance of relevant external sources.
# Own and lead the annual sales and marketing plan for the Distribution Channel.
# Utilise the various Partner submitted data to shape and inform the future strategic actions for the network.

# Experience working in a channel management roles.
# Excellent organizational and time management skills.
# Transformation experience and able to demonstrate change management.
# Experience in dealing with senior stakeholders.
# Proficient skills in Microsoft office, but not limited to Word, PowerPoint & Excel
# Comprehension of financial reward mechanisms and measures
# Ability to enhance the co-operation of others through influence.
# Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Desirable qualifications and skills:
# Worked in an international matrix organisation.
# Strong analytical and data management skills (Tableau, PowerBI or QLIK)
# Experience dealing with a distribution network.
