Change Manager

The national transformation team is looking to recruit two Change Managers, on a secondment basis, supporting our CVD-R Programme delivering projects in line with the NHS Long Term Plan requirements for CVD, Diabetes, Prevention, Respiratory Disease and stroke.

As a project manager you will work with stakeholders from across the Integrated Care System ensure a collaborative approach to transformation.

These two Change Manager posts have become available because the substantive post holders have successfully secured extensions to their secondments to senior roles in the team.

These roles will be responsible for managing projects that deliver NHS Long Term Plan requirements for CVD, diabetes, prevention, respiratory disease, and stroke,

• To work with the programme manager in providing the managerial support for clinical transformation activities carried out by practicing clinicians, with a particular emphasis on project management and stakeholder engagement


• To support the management and implementation of development initiatives, supporting clinical transformation and integration.


• Supporting clinicians in engaging with partner organisations across the local healthcare system in the design and implementation of new service models.


• Understanding and managing the strategic objectives of partner organisations in the context of system transformation.


• Contribute to the strategic planning of directorate projects, identifying interdependencies across projects/functions, potential impacts on wider organisation, resource requirements and building in contingency and adjustments as necessary


• Research best practice and innovations and reflect clinical commissioner views on best practice and innovations
