Full Job Description

Working as part of the large Catering Team at Freeman Hospital, you will be responsible for transporting patients breakfasts to the wards and departments via ward trolleys, collecting the trolleys back in and returning them back to the catering department for cleaning. General working with all areas of the catering department.

  • Interview date: 4th June 2024

  • Part time - 20 hours per week (11.00am to 3.00pm) working 5 days out of 7 and working 2 weekends out of 3.

  • Delivering patients breakfasts to the wards using our ward trolleys, helping with the delivery of bread and milk to wards and departments, the job role will may also include the following.

  • Serving patients breakfast items following their menu requests.

  • Cleaning of the service area and belt, general cleaning duties around the department.

  • Working in the central dish wash cleaning the ward trollies, patient crockery and cutlery from breakfast and ensuring all equipment is set up ready for the following lunch service.
