Care Assistant - (Chatham) - Evenings

Our clients lead busy lives and place a great deal of trust in us to take care of their loved ones. For these reasons and as you would expect, it is important to us that each member of our team is:

• Live in Medway


• Have a full UK driving licence (or equivalent)


• Have access to your own vehicle


• Be able to work evenings and alternate weekends


• Have a right to work in the UK - we can only accept applications from within the UK


• Be prepared to go through our 3-day induction training at our Gillingham office


OK, but what tasks will I do?

Our clients depend on our team of dedicated CareGivers to help and support them with the activities of daily living in their own homes. Typical tasks include:

• Companionship (hobbies, trips out, shopping etc)


• Medication assistance


• Personal care (minimal assistance is all that is sometimes needed)


• Assisting clients living with Dementia


• Meal preparation


• Light housekeeping


• And much more...

Hourly Rate: £13.15 per hour minimum + mileage (£14 per hour after 7pm weekdays and weekends - enhanced rates during bank holidays).

Location: Chatham (includes: Walderslade, Lordswood, St Mary's Island and surrounding areas) - our intention is to keep you close to your local area, however you must be prepared to travel anywhere in the Medway Towns

Hours of availability: We will consider applications from applicants who are flexible and can work some evenings and alternate weekends.
