Full Job Description

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in Derby. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to individuals who require care in their own homes or in residential care settings. You will work closely with our service users, promoting their independence and ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met., Providing personal care and support to service users, including assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
- Assisting with meal preparation, feeding, and medication administration in accordance with care plans.
- Supporting service users with mobility, transfers, and exercises as required.
- Engaging in meaningful activities and companionship with service users to promote social interaction and mental well-being.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, including daily logs and incident reports.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure coordinated care delivery.
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations governing care provision and safeguarding.

Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential.
- Compassionate nature and genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Flexible approach to work and willingness to undertake training and development opportunities.
