Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Support Officer to assist our busy Cardiac Rehabilitation Team with delivering administrative support to a high standard. It is a complex but rewarding area to work in., We are looking for a well organised and motivated person, with a can do attitude and excellent interpersonal skills, to provide high quality administrative support.
The post holder will be responsible for assisting with data entry onto database systems.
To arrange clinic bookings and report clinic activity on hospital systems.
To transcribe, print and send clinic letters and rehab groups bookings
To ensure smooth running of the office environment, answering enquiries, filing and managing patient records.
Other general administration duties as required, + The healthcare provider of first choice for the people of East Sussex.

We are also promoting these roles to provide apprenticeship opportunities with development. For all applicants (working 18 hours per week or more) we can offer an apprenticeship programme to support them to undertake an NVQ in business Administration at NVQ Level 2 or Level 3. This programme will take 13 months to complete and must be commenced within 3 months of the start date for the post.
The successful applicant will be responsible for arranging clinics and diaries, taking notes, support in the use of Health-roster and the recruitment electronic system, in addition to booking mandatory training and providing full administrative service to the cardiac rehabilitation team. The applicant will need to be adept at using IT software such as excel. They will also need to collate and enter accurate data across multiple systems.
If you have an ability to work calmly under pressure and feel you meet the following requirements:-
· A good communicator and enjoy meeting people.
· Posses a polite and caring manner
· Have a good sense of humour
· Able to prioritise own workload
· You are computer literate and competent with the use of Microsoft Office.
