Full Job Description

The Campaigns Assistant is a 9-month funded placement opportunity where you will have the chance to gain experience working with our Campaigning team.

The types of activities you might be involved in include:

Helping to write and deliver plans for campaigns
Writing content for webpages, social media and email newsletters
Responding to enquiries from our supporters and the public
Researching subjects and analysing data to support campaigns
Organising events and assisting in meetings and webinars
You'll work part of your time at home and part of the time from our Head Office based in Grantham, Lincolnshire. The frequency of time spent in your contracted office will vary across teams and job roles., Introduction to Campaigning and how you can change the world for the better, while learning how public campaigns and working with politicians and decision-makers can make those changes happen.

A keen interest in campaigning
Good written communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
A keen interest in learning and developing new ideas, working with others to bring them to life
Experience of using Microsoft Word and email with the ability to use IT and learn new tools with support
The ability to voice your opinion and give feedback in a professional manner
A passion for the environment and an interest in trees and nature
You will be:

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Due to terms and conditions and specification of the job role, you'll be aged between 18 - 24 years old
You'll be based in North England (North West, Yorkshire & Humber and North East)
You must be able to start employment with us between 13th and 17th May 2024
You must be out of employment, education and training
