Full Job Description

  • Supervise the daily operation of the café

  • Nurture positive and mutually beneficial relationships with all key stakeholders

  • Collaborate with the café manager and other partners to undertake marketing and social media activities, promoting the café to increase sales and spread awareness of the work of the charities

  • Assist the Café Manager with Stock management, planning, ordering, and recording

  • Work with the Café Manager to keep the project within its budget

  • You will coach people to develop new skills and grow in confidence in the workplace

  • You will identify preferred methods of communication for each member of the team and ensure that effective communication is prioritised

    Do you live, sleep, and breathe hospitality, love good food, and have a passion for making a positive impact in your local community?, A Level 2 catering/hospitality qualification

  • A Full driver's license and willing to use own transport

  • Minimum 1 year in a supervisory position

  • Minimum 2 years of catering experience (including food preparation, baking, and food hygiene practices)

  • A strong working knowledge of food safety

  • management

  • Proven track record of managing staff

  • Customer service, including dealing with complaints or

  • difficult situations
