Cafe Assistant

Following a recent refurbishment, our gorgeous new cafe at Ravenglass has opportunities for 2 part-time, seasonal contracts - immediate start available.

• 30 hours per week June-August (suit student / school leaver)


• 30 hours per week May to October (with the potential to extend to December)


We can offer flexilbitiy around contractual hours. Weekday and weekend work available.

Our ideal candidate will have some previous relevant experience, but this is not essential as training will be provided. What is essential, is that you have a genuine passion for customer service. You'll be naturally confident, friendly, helpful and enjoy working as part of a small, close-knit team. You'll be an excellent communicator and be flexible, focused, and self-motivated.

Your job role would involve:

• Setting up the counter and tables at the start of the day


• Making and serving tea and coffee


• Serving meals, snacks, and cakes


• Taking payments by cash and card/operating the till


• Providing excellent customer service making sure customers are happy.


• Carrying out daily and weekly cleaning duties


• Cleaning of counters, floors, and tables


• Assisting other members of the team, where needed
