Full Job Description

We have a great opportunity for an individual to join our Travel team as a Business Travel Consultant in Birmingham. Within this role you will be required to work alongside the Firm’s Business Travel Team Leader providing a VIP in-house corporate travel service to all partners, fee earners and business services staff.

We are looking for someone who brings to this role experience of working within a business travel consultant role within a corporate environment, demonstrating experience of booking travel for law firms and/or professional services organisations. You will have the ability to ability to understand client requirements and providing the most appropriate solution with the ability to consult with stakeholders at all levels.

To this role you will bring the ability to book complex multi-sector itineraries, excellent geographical, product knowledge of destinations and suppliers and fares knowledge along with good working knowledge of Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Technical skills and experience.

  • Competent in the use of the Galileo CRS (reservations system);

  • Qualified to BA standard;

  • Airline ticketing knowledge to include knowledge of re-issuing tickets
