Full Job Description

We are looking for a Business Support Officer to join the Adolescent North and West Business Support Team. This is a demanding and challenging role and you will need a calm and organised approach, alongside excellent communication skills.

You will be working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, providing invaluable professional support to Early Help and Social Work staff in the district. You will liaise with families, professionals and colleagues with responsibilities including arranging and minuting meetings, daily mailbox monitoring and dealing with queries, diary management, tracking timescales, acting as the first point of contact for phone queries and updating / uploading to case management systems. You will be a skilled administrator proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook and in organising your own time and supporting others to meet deadlines and performance targets. The work is varied and you will be expected to deal with a wide range of issues and work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing duties as required throughout the team.
