Full Job Description

As a Business Support Coordinator for Enablement and Support Services you will be responsible for providing support to teams and Senior Managers across the directorate, providing telephone and face to face support to our staff that work in the community, undertaking timely accurate recording on multiple different bespoke systems. You will be part of a team that works collaboratively with internal and external partners and focuses on promoting a person's independence.

We're looking for a full time position (37 hours a week, Monday - Friday 8.30pm - 5.30pm) however for the right candidate we would consider part time (minimum of 26 hours a week)., This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.

- The ability to travel across the county visiting various KCC and partnership office locations, KCC operates a flexible working policy. The ability to travel and to be able to move resources across a wide geographical area at various times of the day is essential. You should note that public transport is rarely a viable option as some rural areas of Kent often have limited public transport. This role is subject to holding a Full UK Driving Licence - The Council is committed to making reasonable adjustments so whilst this job requires the jobholder to drive your application will still be considered if you are unable to drive due to a disability.

Kent County Council is a hybrid working company, allowing staff the flexibility to work across a number of offices alongside working from home, for this role there is a requirement for the successful candidate to work from Worrall House, Kings Hill a minimum of 2 days per week. Alongside this there will also at times be a need to work from other offices across Kent to support the business needs. During the training and induction period for this role there will be a requirement to work from an office more than 2 days per week., Work that works for you and us - let's talk flexibility!
