Full Job Description

As a Business Support Administrator, you will work as part of a team to provide effective and efficient administrative support to Adult Social Care.

Your duties will be varied and include:

Typing letters, managing correspondence, receiving telephone calls and taking messages from both internal and external customers, note taking at meetings, inputting to the Councils databases and electronic systems, financial responsibilities, meeting deadlines and other general administrative duties.

Our team is highly experienced and knowledgeable, with a proven track record of success across a wide range of council services. We are experts in the key support services required to ensure the smooth running of the council's operations. Join us and be part of a team that makes a real difference., You must be able to work flexibly to respond to service demand, be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise a varied and challenging workload efficiently, have both good verbal and written communication and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages., We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Possesses good communication skills and accurate attention to detail.

  • Knowledge and experience of taking meeting minutes.

  • Educated to GCSE / NVQ2 standard or equivalent, including in English and Maths.

  • Keen to learn and able to juggle priorities effectively, often with conflicting demands.

  • Caring and helpful and able to work as part of a team.

  • Customer focused and has a can do attitude.
