Full Job Description
- To raise the profile of the company and increase sales by attracting new customers, being proactive through calling, email or meeting and negotiating.
- To manage existing accounts driving profit margins and upselling where possible.
- Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity.
- To arrange and attend business meetings when necessary. To be proactive with all social networking platforms to gain the most potential for new and existing customers.
- Target business opportunities include agents, end users and distributors.
- To assist with promotion concept and design, identifying new promotional opportunities.
- To carry out market research assisting with market analysis.
- Participate and contribute in the development of the company marketing plans and targets for the year.
- To monitor existing market conditions to identify opportunities (new products, demand, promotional) and threats (competitor action, demand) making recommendations to the head of sales and account manager.
- To support the Head of Sales & Account Management in ensuring the efficient running of the department and also contributing to the strategic planning of the department.
- Assist with maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of the department.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- To be willing to help, coach and develop others within the team when asked
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Holiday increasing with length of service
- Hours are Monday - Thursday 8.30 am until 5pm and Friday 8.30 am until 4.30pm (37.5 hrs per week)
