Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract to join our team at The National Exhibition Centre.
The successful candidate will have significant demonstrable experience in structured BA techniques and methods including process mapping, strong supplier and stakeholder management skills, experience of change management and business impact analysis, and the ability to relate operational needs to technical capability.

What your day to day responsibilities will be:

• Capture and analyse strategic needs, challenges and opportunities in the form of traditional requirements.


• Design of processes in the form of current (As - is) and future (To - Be) via facilitation of workshops with business representatives, including gap analysis and areas for improvement.


• Identify the impact of new solutions and processes on the wider organisation and contribute to the delivery of the end product through partnership with the change management function.


• Contribute to the impact analysis of project change requests on process, agreed objectives and benefits.


• Assist in the analysis and delivery of customers' acceptance test plans and results in partnership with the test lead.


• Support the production of business cases to support proposed processes/solutions.


• Implement and continuously review the use of business analysis techniques and tools used within The NEC Group.
  
  Bachelor's degree (or higher) - OR - Significant professional work experience.


• ISEB Business Analysis Diploma is advantageous.


• Significant demonstrable experience in structured BA techniques and methods including process mapping using an associated mapping tool, eg. Microsoft Visio.


• Strong supplier management skills.


• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).


• Strong analytical mindset.


• Strong Stakeholder Management.


• Influence and Persuasion techniques.


• Experience of change management and business impact analysis is essential.


• Able to relate operational needs to technical capability.
