Full Job Description

The Apprentice will provide an efficient typing for the Clinical Team. This includes the typing of letter, reports, patient referrals, minutes etc. in an accurate and timely manner. organise referrals for the health professionals. Business Admin level 3 Apprenticeship training provided by PMA Ltd and on the job training.,

  • To provide administrative support to the Practice team.

  • To provide general office and clerical services for the Practice team, including photocopying, collecting, and distributing post, filing, scanning, word processing etc.

  • To assist in the development and upkeep of patient information, the internal intranet, and our external website.

  • To undertake processing of correspondence, reports and other documents to corporate standards and deadlines and in formats appropriate to client groups.

  • Process routine documentation.

  • To develop and maintain spreadsheets or databases containing financial and non-financial information, and to liaise with the Practice admin team.

  • To provide information to members of the Practice team as requested.

  • Liaise with members of the public, suppliers, other Practices, and other external stakeholders.

    Business Admin level 3 Apprenticeship Standard Training in the workplace provided by PMA Ltd. Includes Functional Skills in English and maths if required.

  • All training with be provided in-house for the EMIS Clinical System, Document Management System and E-Referrals.

  • You will achieve a Level 3 Business Administration qualification upon successful completion of the apprenticeship., Desired skills and personal qualities

  • Communication skills

  • GCSE or equivalent English (Grade Grade 4/C or above) desirable

  • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade Grade 4/C or above) desirable
