Broker - Media & Entertainment Risks

Are you keen to join Aon's Media and Entertainment team as a Broker ?

Are you able to contribute to the marketing and negotiation of TV Production business within the Lloyd's and Company Markets on a day-to-day basis.

What the day will look like

  • Assist client with production insurance needs

  • Process special certificate of insurance requests

  • Manage ongoing productions as they go through the filming process.

  • Gather and analyse data and draft assigned elements of client service plans, stewardship reports and other convincing presentations tailored to the needs of the audience and the circumstances of the presentation.

  • Receives and manages routine and sophisticated coverage inquiries and endorsement requests.

  • Assist managers with special projects

  • Accountable for routine support activities senior brokers with defined deadlines related to proposal and endorsement preparation, submission and data analysis or related to the placement and servicing of blanket production programs.

  • Participate in client/broker strategy meetings.

    The Entertainment team is a rapidly growing team and gives its brokers the opportunity to work on some of the biggest TV, Advertising and Broadcasting entities in the industry whilst also developing an in depth knowledge of multiple lines of cover, including:

    As a broker, you will be part of a team delivering the servicing and prospecting of clients, London client visits and assisting the subsequent placement strategy in conjunction with our retail colleagues.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Proven experience in the London Insurance market with an insurer, broker or underwriter.

  • Sound understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes;

  • Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service;

  • Effective communication and presentation skills;

  • Experience of managing effective client relationships;

  • Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation;

  • Possesses advanced analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills and abilities
