Full Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our team. As a Bricklayer, Within the Construction environment, managing big projects, ensuring health and safety. you will play a vital role in creating durable and visually appealing structures. At any given time, you'll find us working on some developments in both towns and rural areas across the UK, and every one poses unique challenges.

Reporting to the Site Manager and working among a wide range of Trades and Sub Contractors, you'll make sure that materials are stored, protected and the site is safe and in good order. you'll be an important member of the team, so we're looking for a hardworking, reliable, pro-active individual who can get on with others - and who can also get on with the work without close supervision. Find out how we can build a future together., Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and other similar materials to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, fireplaces, chimneys, and other structures
- Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to determine specifications and materials required
- Measure and cut materials to the appropriate size using hand tools or power tools
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto the surfaces to be laid with a trowel
- Align and level bricks or stones using plumb lines, levels, or other tools
- Apply finishing touches such as sealing joints or applying mortar to fill in gaps
- Repair or replace damaged bricks or stones as needed.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Brick Mason or similar role
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in masonry work
- Knowledge of different types of bricks, stones, and other materials used in construction
- Ability to read blueprints or drawings to determine specifications and layouts
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.

Skills:
- Proficient in using hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, levels, etc.
- Familiarity with power tools such as saws, drills, grinders, etc.
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques for framing and finishing work
- Experience working on roofs or performing masonry repairs on roofs is a plus
- Ability to perform basic welding tasks for masonry reinforcement is a plus

- Operative to be hard working, Reliable and Trustworthy.

- CSCS Card Holder.
