Full Job Description

We are looking for an outgoing charismatic individual who would enjoy talking to people about our products and turning them into customers.

Newsquest Media is the 2nd largest publisher of regional press in the UK and we are looking for someone who can represent our printed Essex titles to the local community on their doorstep and at events.

You will need to be articulate and have an interest in your local area with a belief in the importance of local journalism.

You will have sales targets to achieve, so experience in direct sales is as important as your integrity, honesty and passion for keeping access to local news alive.

As a brand/sales ambassador will be entirely customer facing and your week will include selling home delivery newspaper subscriptions to local homeowners and working with the New Business Development team leader at various weekend events across Essex.

As our attendance at events plays an important role in increasing our customer base for our printed products every person that you talk to should be left with more knowledge of our titles, magazines and the role we fulfil within the local community.

If you have good sales experience, have worked in the field both on your own and as part of a small team and believe you can drive sales of our products then we would love to hear from you.
