Full Job Description

The main function of the role is to provide excellent customer service, by taking incoming calls and coordinating bookings in the workshop diary or providing ongoing follow up support for jobs already in the workshop.It will also include preparing paperwork for handover packs, providing estimates for online/telephone enquiries and providing support for service advisors.Of key importance during these transactions is to always liaise with customers in a positive, helpful and efficient manner.

You will be responsible for:

  • Promptly answering, and dealing with, customer phone calls;

  • Providing telephone assistance in terms of making a convenient booking in the diary, and capturing all of the customers requests and comments on the job card;

  • To raise job cards and check vehicles for recalls, technical campaigns and review indicators;

  • Providing support for service advisors;

  • Providing estimates for online/telephone enquiries;

  • Liaising with workshop management regarding matters such as availability of parts, diagnosis feedback etc;

  • Front line delivery of the Wessex Garages Customer Satisfaction promise;

  • Understanding of, and adherence to, manufacturers required booking protocols;

  • Any other duties as agreed with the Service Manager from time to time.
