Bi-weekend Twilight Vet - Fri-Sun 2:00pm-12:00am - Active Vetcare

Do you enjoy the caseload OOH, but would prefer not to work all night? Do you enjoy a mixture of daytime and OOH work?

We are seeking a caring and motivated Veterinary surgeon with excellent communication skills and clinical standards to join our team to provide assistance during the afternoon and until Midnight (2:00pm-12:00am) Friday through to Sunday every other week.

Our twilight vets primarily provide inpatient care in the afternoon (2:00pm-6:00pm), and consult support from 7pm-12:00am (our busiest part of the night shift). This allows the overnight vet to concentrate on and provide care for our inpatients. Teamwork and good working relationships are as important to us as the clinical care we provide, so time is allocated at the start and end of each shift to discuss and handover cases, ensuring that there are opportunities for individuals to learn and develop. The twilight shift allows OOH work with case discussion and an exchange of ideas for case management unlike sole charge.

ECC or out of hours experience is not a specific requirement for the role, but an ability to provide great patient and client care is essential.

Our MiNightVet service complements our fantastic day team of 7 day vets to provide 24hr care to our own patients and those of 12 nearby member practices.
