Full Job Description

+ To function as an competent clinical practitioner within their designated clinical area. To deliver direct patient care whilst, co-ordinating and overseeing nursing practice.
+ To be responsible for ensuring the delivery of clinical activities during their span of duty.
+ To ensure that there is efficient and effective utilisation of resources to deliver optimum quality care to their client group.
+ To work closely with the ward manager and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
+ To help drive forward evidence based practice in line with national guidance to enhance the care we deliver to these vulnerable infants and their families. To work flexibly to meet the needs of the service

We are seeking to recruit a keen, enthusiastic and motivated Neonatal Sister or experience Staff Nurse with the neonatal qualified in speciality course to work within our friendly Neonatal Team of hardworking Nurses, who are passionate about providing excellent care for our babies and their parents/carers.
This is a post joining our trust bank to work ad hoc shifts on the neonatal unit.
You will need to be RN/RM/RCN and hold QIS/ENB 405 with previous experience of working in a Neonatal Unit plus the commitment and enthusiasm for working in this field.
You will need to provide clinical expertise in all aspects of neonatal care, you will also need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills. You must have compassion and be able to demonstrate flexible thinking as well as the ability to prioritise a demanding workload. You will need to be able to work with the multidisciplinary team with motivation to strive for excellence in practice
