Full Job Description

We are currently seeking Baggage Handler's to join our teams working at various Southampton Cruise Terminals, during the Cruise Season, starting immediately, running up till October.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of luggage and cargo. Helping passengers with check-in and car parking.

Shifts are offered on a first come first served basis each week. Shift numbers can vary, and shifts can last 4 to 8-hours. You can work 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 shifts per week depending on your availability and shifts available.

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload baggage and cargo.

  • Transport luggage to and from the terminal using trolleys or conveyor belts.

  • Assisting with cruise passenger parking.

  • Carry out security checks on luggage as required.

  • Assist passengers with oversized or special items.

  • Maintain cleanliness and order in baggage handling areas.

    Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.

  • Physically fit and able to handle heavy items.

  • Eligible to work in the UK.

    Pay Rate: £11.50 to £13.09 Per Hour (Depending on Shift Worked).


    • Start Times Range from 9:30am to 11:15am.

    Shifts can last 4 to 8-Hours., Essential Uniform Requirements (You Must Have These To Work The Shift):
  • Black steel toe capped safety boots or safety shoes.

  • Plain black work trousers (no jeans, tracksuit, or jogging bottoms).

  • Plain light blue collared shirt (short or long sleeved is fine).

  • We will provide a high-viz vest and clip on black tie.
