Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Assurance Administrative Assistant to join our Assurance Department. The successful candidate will support the Group QESH Manager and play a vital role in maintaining departmental activities, ensuring compliance with standards, and fostering a culture of quality, health, safety, and environmental (QESH) excellence.

As part of this role your responsibilities will be :

Administration:

  • Manage and coordinate departmental administrative tasks.

  • Take detailed minutes during meetings and distribute them appropriately.

  • Oversee document control and review standards including BS, EN, ISO, Railway Group, and Network Rail Standards.

  • Assist in the preparation of annual management reports and presentations.


  • QESH Support:
  • Record and prepare QESH non-conformities for investigation.

  • Generate and distribute Health & Safety newsletters.

  • Create and display monthly safety or environmental posters within the facilities.

  • Document health and safety accidents and incidents on report forms for investigation.

  • Collate quality evidential information for review and distribution to clients.

  • Maintain standards and compliance databases.

  • Review documents and flag changes for management review.

    Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in document management and compliance procedures.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


  • Expected Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 in Office / Business Administration.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365 software environment, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

    Full -Time, Permanent

    Mon to Thurs: 8.20am to 17.00pm

    Fri: 8.20am to 15.00pm

    Salary dependant on experience

    £21, 889.14 to £24,000.00
