As an Associate Engineer (Application) in Sainsbury's Tech, you will play a crucial role in learning, building, and designing squad-owned services using specific technologies and programming languages within our ecosystem. You will work closely with cross-functional engineers to support the design of services and internal frameworks that enhance Sainsbury's and contribute to the whole product lifecycle, including decommissioning, with guidance. Your success will be driven by your adherence to best practises in continuous integration and delivery, your collaborative mindset within the team, your customer-centric approach to engineering and running products, and your proactive engagement with new technologies. Who you are
As an Associate Engineer (Application) for Sainsbury's Tech, you are a highly motivated and curious individual with a passion for technology and engineering. With your foundational perspective, you contribute to the building and running of our technology solutions, using specific technologies and languages, such as SQL and Python. You are continuously learning and implementing specific cloud technologies, supporting the design of services and internal frameworks that enhance Sainsbury's, and engineering throughout the entire product lifecycle.
