Project: A major infrastructure project that will be contributing to the upgrade of the UK's strategic defence capability.

The Project Security Manager will ensure that project is delivered securely and provide assurance to client functional security leads on a regular basis.

The Security Project Manager will assist the Programme Security Lead/ Operations Director manage and implement security across Secure projects and provide assurance to Clients on a regular basis.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Work with project managers to ensure that security processes are considered and implemented across the site and any other locations associated with delivery.

  • Maintain and review security management plans for the project.

  • Maintain an accurate security incident log and conducting incident investigations where necessary.

  • Promoting security awareness across the project to encourage a positive security culture.

  • Carry out security audits and prepare assurance reports where necessary.

  • Meet with external stakeholders and consultants, provide security advice and maintain relationships with client security functions.

  • Support and guide the project team to ensure that contractual security obligations are being adhered too.

  • Monitor personnel mobilisation and demobilisation.

  • Support on incident & emergency preparedness for the project sites.

  • Promote Mace Services.

    You have relevant degree qualifications or BTEC / HNC and have working knowledge of current security policies and procedures for different Government Departments along with a proven track record in managing client relationships. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have a security, construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
