Associate Director Quantity Surveyor

Peace Recruitment is very excited to be working with a brand-new client, as we assist them in their search for an individual to perform the role of Associate Director Quantity Surveyor.

This multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is in the process of further expanding their Manchester office, and keen to find a stand-out individual to become “2nd in command” within their already established Cost Management team.

You will have the opportunity to be involved within a range of projects across numerous industry sectors, including Commercial, Leisure and Residential developments.

Key Responsibilities/Tasks:

• Supporting the Head of Cost Management with internal team management duties (where required)

• Work to provide a full range of Quantity Surveying duties from project inception through to completion

• Site presence as required by specific project deliverables

• Prepare Estimates/Cost Plans/Tender Documents/Tender Reports

• Assist in the mentoring & development of junior staff

• Work collaboratively with other service teams to provide an integrated approach to client delivery

• Managing client relationships and service delivery on a project specific basis, in conjunction with senior management

Necessary Skills/Experience

• Pre-contract QS experience, working on buildings/property construction projects is ESSENTIAL

• A variation of sector experience would be beneficial, ideally including at least one of Residential, Commercial, Leisure

• Business Development and Team Management experience would be beneficial at this level, but not essential

• A good local marketplace knowledge & contacts would be of interest

• A highly motivated & driven attitude is key, and a keenness to assist in further developing the business as a whole

In Return:

• Salary - £68,000 - £80,000 (DOE)
