Full Job Description

Due to continued growth, we currently have an opportunity for an Associate Director with extensive experience managing transportation projects and building strong client relationships within the Yorkshire and Humber region. The role will be based in our Leeds office.

The successful candidate will:

  • Draw upon a proven track record to manage projects for or on behalf of local or national transport bodies.

  • Continually strive to improve the business value proposition and develop knowledge and expertise of the team.

  • Help to develop new business opportunities whilst deepening key client understanding and relationships., Supporting the business in winning work, leading bids and tenders.

  • Developing staff capabilities and identifying skill requirements to ensure workforce fits for the future.

  • Directing and managing project team, delivering portfolios and multi-disciplinary projects relating to highways infrastructure.

  • Providing guidance and technical advice to different stakeholders, internally and externally.

  • Clear understanding of and expertise in project commercial accountability.
  • Actively broaden technical experience and expertise in line with market trends.

  • Mentoring and developing staff, providing career growth opportunities for others

  • Building client.

  • Managing client relationships and harness future pipeline opportunities.

  • Developing new client relationships through own initiative.

  • Drive high levels of client satisfaction.

  • BEng, MEng, or MSc Degree in Civil Engineering.

  • IEng or CEng with a relevant professional institution (e.g. ICE or CIHT), or similar professional experience.

  • Proven track record to direct/manage multi-disciplinary schemes for or on behalf of public sector clients.

  • Experience in business development and/or business management.
