Full Job Description
- Preparing enquiries, analysing tenders, negotiating and managing allocated sub-contractor accounts including orders, payments & final accounts in accordance with company procedures.
- Assisting in the preparation and agreement of applications for payment.
- Playing a key role in capturing, managing and communicating change on the project, cost capture, allocation of costs.
- Assisting in the preparation of the Project Control Reporting including project cost & value / EVA reports, budgets and forecasts.
- Reporting to QS when contractual notices and correspondence with both client and sub-contractors are seen to be necessary.
- Assisting with the target cost maintenance and reporting, compilation and adjustment of the Project Budget / Target Cost.
- Being proactive in self-development and professional qualification.
- Carrying out sub-contractor performance reviews on allocated subcontractors.
- Contributing to Value management / value engineering., You'll be a welcomed member of the wider team, with opportunities to take on additional responsibility, join one of our networks for women, military or LGBT+ staff, and participate in cultural and social events with the local community (e.g. as a STEM ambassador).
- Experience working in a commercial admin role supporting a large commercial management team

The role will work on the HS2 project. HS2 is the UK's new high speed rail network. It will be a catalyst for economic growth across Britain, freeing up space on the existing railways and connecting 8 out of the UK's 10 biggest cities with fast, reliable and frequent high speed services

The Skanska | Costain | STRABAG (SCS JV) is delivering the HS2 London Tunnels Contract. Scope of works includes twin-bored tunnels (TBM), SCL tunnels, shaft sinking, bridge demolition and reconstruction, services diversions, earthworks and the construction of site compounds.
