Full Job Description

The successful candidate will work within our Projects Team to survey and estimate the cost of projects and provide accurate and well thought out proposals. You must be commercially aware with excellent client liaison skills as you will be an integral part of our Contracts Team. The role will be based at our Aldershot Office.,

  • Learn and apply the process of Measure and take off quantities from drawings/specifications.

  • Participate in site visits to assist in the preparation of valuations.

  • Ability to deal with sub-contractors and suppliers.

  • Contribute to Cost reporting back to Project Director.

  • Learn the process of raising and submission of Quotations and Variations.

  • Scanning and copying of documents

  • Type documents, reports and correspondence.

  • Raise purchase orders when required on Xero.

  • Assist with operation Manuals.

  • Pre-Qualifying chasing filing.

  • Research and find new suppliers.

  • Answer phones and transfer as and when needed.

    Demonstrate an interest in estimating projects within the Commercial Fit-Out/Construction sector.

  • Ability to demonstrate creativity and positivity within our team and with our clients.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate confidently.

  • High attention to detail and commercial awareness.

  • IT literate with good working knowledge of MS Office and Excel.

  • A knowledge of design software (AutoCad) would be an advantage.

  • Highly organised and excellent time management skills.

  • Strong oral and written communication.

  • Can work effectively with others.

  • Positive approach.
