Assistant Packhouse Manager

Assistant Manager working alongside the Packhouse Manager maintaining the highest levels of performance and meeting all daily operations targets whilst upholding the values of a long established Family Business.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

· Efficient management of production lines to ensure a consistently high quality of work with minimal downtime

· People management: motivation and performance monitoring whilst upholding the deep routed culture of a family run business and upholding the family values throughout operations whilst upholding the highest ethical standards.

· Communicating training and supporting your team members to ensure they are motivated to deliver an outstanding product

· Production run scheduling and planning

· Opportunity for further personal development within a fast, dynamic and forever expanding business.

· Management of goods 'inward' and 'outward's

· To provide a safe and healthy work place and to be a part of the H&S committee.

· Communication with production units and transport companies

· Situation and incident Management

· Raw material and packaging stock control management

· Self motivated and dynamic

· Be able to lead and work within a team and individually.

· Able to cope with a fast paced environment, multi-tasking when required

· Enthusiastic and an excellent communicator

· Accurate, meticulous and methodical with their work

· Numerically competent.
