    The Opportunity

    The role sits within Mace's PMO and Planning function and will work for clients on large and complex projects/programmes. This hybrid UK-based role will require some travel to Mace and/or client offices. Flexible working options considered.

    Delivers on organisational development (OD) knowledge transfer services for allocated projects and programmes. Provides support with administration, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning initiatives.

    You'll be responsible for:
  • Coordinates and schedules learning on projects and programmes, using learning management systems or other platforms.

  • Organises and manages learning delivered internally and/or externally.

  • Develops, builds and maintains trusting, collaborative relationships with a wide range of internal stakeholders.

  • Assists with the assessment of performance and effectiveness gaps and works with projects/programmes to implement learning initiatives.

  • Aligns programme of works to all relevant contractual and legal requirements related to project/programme delivery, and to the project mission, vision, and values.

  • Where relevant, develops, delivers, and adapts bespoke learning content that creates opportunities for personal, team and project growth.

  • Identifies and measures the value added from project/programme consultations and initiatives that were developed and delivered.

  • Supports by producing reports on learning analysis, attendance, learning requirements, and the value added.

  • Works with team members providing support and assistance for the operational delivery of team/area strategy.

    Previous experience and/or qualifications in Organisational Development and/or Learning and Development (or equivalent).

  • Solid Microsoft Application skills, e.g. PowerPoint, Excel.

  • Instructional design knowledge.

  • Understands learning types and when to apply different methods, e.g. virtual, face-to-face, eLearning.

  • Presents and communicates effectively at all levels, both written and verbal.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Build partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.

  • Demonstrable history of pursuing a better way and being curious to make improvements.

  • Ability to recognise the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to programmes/projects.


  • You'll also have:
  • Project management experience.

  • Consulting skills.

  • Learning management systems experience.

  • Articulate 360.

  • Understanding/experience of operating in large and complex projects/programmes.

  • Client relationship management.

  • Facilitation skills.

  • CIPD Level 3 Foundation in People Practice (or equivalent); or APM Project Management

  • Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) (or equivalent).
