Full Job Description

  • Leads tender processes; coordinates pitch meetings and ensures the correct internal teams are in place to review agency proposals if applicable.

  • Provides advice and guidance on good practice to achieve optimal results for the specific campaign or initiatives, based on the strategy and KPIs provided by the internal client.

  • Provides advice and guidance to internal stakeholders around best event solutions (destination choice, venue etc.)

  • Selection, appointment, and contract negotiation of external suppliers -speaker agencies, keynote presenters, production companies, and external venues, ensuring KPIs are set and adhered. Evaluate performance and provide feedback to suppliers.

  • Integral role in the design of content and creation of event concepts, in tandem with the event objectives and key messages.

  • Working with internal creative teams such as the in-house design and film studio.

  • Full project and staff management pre, during and post event, of all event personnel including internal Deloitte staff, venue staff and production crew.

  • Project costing and budget management.

    We are looking for someone who is experienced in senior level stakeholder management and also have the capacity to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives, while working under pressure. It would be a benefit to have knowledge of Deloitte platforms and Deloitte approved third party suppliers, as well as knowledge of the events industry, current trends and virtual event solutions and ideas.

  • This role requires someone who has an interest in learning about virtual events, technologies and services. You will need to be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence at all levels.
    Essential Criteria
  • Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, including presentation skills, that clearly articulate priorities and expectations

  • Passion for and understanding of the Deloitte brand and professional services.

  • Evidence of managing to budget and understanding and mitigating against risk.

  • Collaborative working with senior stakeholders, our internal client and agency teams as well as a firm understanding of collaboration with cross-functional teams and third parties.

  • Quality control, ensuring your work is designed to a high standard and aligns with our brand with a meticulous eye for detail.

  • You are a strong multi-tasker with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at one time.

It's a role for people who like solving B2B problems and challenges in creative ways. This is a role which would suit someone who is highly motivated, who is passionate about exploring new and exciting ways to tell stories and communicate (often quite complicated) information through events. We are looking for someone who has the confidence to consider the event objective and make recommendations for the most effective delivery. We need someone with exceptional stakeholder management skills and someone who can effectively manage multiple projects, budgets, internal SMEs and external suppliers.
