Full Job Description

Are you a current Assistant Manager or supervisor that is looking for a change? Do you want to work in a lovely rural village fresh food bar/restaurant? Do you have a bubbly personality that is 100% customer focused? If so, then this could be the position for you.

We are looking for ambitious, can do people who may want to progress and have their own venue in the future.

This venue has a local village pub feel and offers a relaxed dining experience alongside dishes that have fresh food at its heart.

As Bar/Restaurant Supervisor you will assist the hands on owners and the supervisors in the daily running of the business, training staff, producing staff rotas, take lead of the front of house in absence of your superiors and ensuring a smooth service throughout. You will work closely with Managers to guarantee health and safety throughout the business., Oh did we mention the other stuff you will be expected to do e.g. ordering, stock management, P&L and labour controls, cash handling, daily operation of the sites etc etc.

  • Deputising for the owners

  • Experience in a similar role preferably in a similar dining setting, minimum 2 years

  • Fully flexible and available to work evenings and weekends is a must

  • Excellent customer service skills will be of course required

  • Must be passionate

  • Ability to lead the front of house team

  • Ability to train and develop members of staff

  • Self-motivated and pro-active

  • Be able to demonstrate effective organisational skills

  • Always be customer focused

  • Take pride and attention to detail in your work
