Assistant Health & Safety Manager

     Salary Scale: H23 –H25 £32,076 - £33,945 per annum

     All year round

    Permanent, 37 hours per week

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, friendly, self-motivated and conscientious Assistant Health & Safety Manager to join our central estates team, based at our Trust offices at Sewell Park.  

We welcome applicants with experience in general estates management, a working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation & an understanding of building control systems. Previous experience working in a school environment would be beneficial but not essential.

Duties include assisting the Health & Safety Manager with the operational implementation of the Health & Safety policy & ensuring compliance with all Health & safety legislation.  

You should have a proven record of accomplishment of providing excellent Health & Safety management services and be able demonstrate outstanding attention to detail & organisational skills along with a flexible approach & the ability to work independently or as part of a busy team. Personal qualities are of paramount importance & the person appointed is expected to be approachable, professional & reliable.

Broad Horizons Education Trust is a multi-academy Trust comprising of 18 schools across Norfolk, which educate 7,500 children and young people and employ nearly 1200 people.

The hours for this post will be 37 hours per week, all year round worked between 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday – Thursday and 8.30am and 4.00pm Fridays, Flexibility is essential to cover absence.
