Assistant Greenkeeper

Reporting to the Course Manager and his Deputy Course Manager, the successful applicant will assist in the day to day running of the golf course including performing all routine tasks such as;

• Cutting greens, tees, fairways and rough


• Routine maintenance such as verti draining and hollow coring


• Maintaining bunkers


• Blowing and brushing the greens and tees


• General daily upkeep of the course and surrounding areas


• Working as a team to ensure a consistent high standard across both courses throughout the year

We are currently looking for a Greenkeeper to strengthen the team. The club offers two 18-hole John Jacobs designed golf courses, the Main Course and the Short Course. Set on the side of the Chiltern AONB offering stunning views in all directions. The site also boasts a state-of-the-art Trackman Driving Range.

Recently there has been extensive investment throughout the golf course with the construction of a 10,000m³ reservoir, purchase of a Toro 3370 mower, new tee construction and bunker refurbishments. Further irrigation improvements were completed in 2023 followed by an extensive bunker renovation project.
