Full Job Description

  • Processing invoices/proformas for the sales ledger.

  • Preparing sales reports for managers.

  • Entering receipts and expenses into accounting software for the purchase ledger.

  • Assisting with preparation of month end management accounts and year end financial statements.

    Apprentices who do not have level 2 Maths and English (C/4 at GCSE or equivalent) will need to achieve this during the apprenticeship. There will be no cost for this training.

  • The apprenticeship includes the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting qualification.

  • Successful apprentices will be awarded the level 3 Assistant Accountant apprenticeship standard qualification (level 3) as well as the AAT Level 3., Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Time management, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4/C or above) Desired

  • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4/C or above) Desired
    Other AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting or similar (Grade Pass) Essential
