Full Job Description

We are looking for someone to #JoinUs for a 3-year fixed term contract as an Estates Access Control Assistant in our Estates & Facilities Department. Could you be who we are looking for?, The successful candidate will work as part of the Estates & Facilities team who are also delivering a range of functions including support relating to Human Resources, Finance/Budgets, Health and Safety, Compliance & Property Management.

  • Putting administrative systems in place to monitor assess and improve standards and information when necessary

  • To undertake associated administrative duties

  • To operate associated machinery/equipment which may include associated information systems and telephones, within specialist units/departments

  • Regularly create, store, maintain, retrieve and update considerable amounts of records/data both manual and electronic on local systems

  • Production of reports and spreadsheets as required for audit purposes, An opportunity has arisen for a 3 year fixed term Estates Access Control Assistant To manage the Estates Access Control administrative process utilising specialist software and deal with all day-to-day enquiries resolving efficiently. Train and mentor staff adhoc supporting the Access control function.

    Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft applications.

  • Must have a high standard of keyboard skills including good speed and accuracy

  • Must be able to assess priorities and have good organisational skills

  • Must be able to adapt to change

  • Must be able to work as a member of a team

  • Must be receptive and respond to new procedures

  • Experience in use of computerised systems


  • A current valid driving licence is essential.

    Please note the successful candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to the required level RV/CTC

    This role is suitable for part time/job share workers
