Full Job Description

Due to continued growth SGS is seeking a skilled and dedicated Asbestos Surveyor to join our team. As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our clients and the general public by identifying and assessing potential asbestos-containing materials in buildings.,

  • Conducting thorough asbestos surveys in accordance with HSE guidelines and regulations.

  • Identifying and sampling suspected asbestos-containing materials.

  • Recording accurate and detailed survey findings using digital or paper-based systems.

  • Assessing the condition and risk of identified asbestos materials.

  • Providing clear and concise reports to clients, including recommendations for management or removal.

  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.

  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of asbestos legislation, industry standards, and best practices.

  • Communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders., If you are a meticulous and knowledgeable Asbestos Surveyor looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you

    Certification or qualification in asbestos surveying P403, P404 certification or RSPH equivalent

  • Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor, ideally within a similar role or environment.

  • Strong knowledge of asbestos-related legislation, regulations, and guidelines.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately record and document survey findings.

  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with survey software and Microsoft Office.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • A valid driving license and willingness to travel to various sites as required.
