Full Job Description

As a Paralegal in our Asbestos team, you will play a crucial role in supporting in all aspects of asbestos disease litigation such as mesothelioma, pleural thickening and lung cancer. From time to time, you will also work on other disease and multi-track related cases relevant to your role, therefore, you will have a natural ability to provide legal services with a personal touch, demonstrating your care, understanding and sensitivity to clients.
This position requires strong organisational skills, exceptional client care skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a high volume of complex tasks efficiently. You will assist in case preparation, conduct legal research, manage document production, and collaborate with clients with due diligence and care.,

  • Conduct thorough research on your cases, including case law, regulations, and medical literature.


  • Manage and organise case files, including medical records and correspondence.


  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive information.

    Law Degree or Equivalent.


  • Ideally 1-2 years of experience working as a paralegal, preferably in asbestos litigation or a related field.


  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software, such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.


  • Previous experience working a case management system would be preferred.


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.


  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
