Full Job Description

We are looking for a proactive, energetic and enthusiastic Site Services Area Coordinator to work Nights at our Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) in Erith; Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with managing the performance of a business unit and operating Zone within the CFC in an efficient and professional manner, ensuring all targets are met without loss in performance to the business and within the site management structure. As an Area Coordinator for our Site Services Team, you will be working as part of a tiered management team, you will be responsible for creating a safe and respectful environment to deliver maximum client and customer value. The daily running of site operations with responsibilities relating to all aspects of site safety and quality of service, delivering operational targets within the agreed budget and time frame. This role is for 48 hours per week, starting at 18:00 PM on an any 4 days from 7 rotation. The successful candidate will, You will be responsible for helping to deal with external contractors including; Pest Control, Tote Wash and Waste and dealing with onsite service providers. To also help manage Tote Wash (Fault finding, reporting,Testing of chemicals and ordering, Training) and complete micro testing. You will also assist with furniture ordering and installation and managing the Central Stores Team and all associated ordering. You will also assist the Area Managers with management of all inbound & outbound assets and with management of waste and recycling. You will coordinate charity Purge collections/donations. You will also undertake tiered management/personal shopper tasks if the need arises and be able to stand/walk for extended periods and to lift objects weighing up to 30kg (periodically) from the floor to shoulder height. You will need to wear protective equipment to ensure requisite standards of health and safety are maintained and trained to use Mechanical Handling Equipment. The Area
Coordinator role involves working in environments ranging in temperature from 30 o C to -30 o C. This role will include travel to other sites from time to time to support the needs of the business and to work shifts, including weekends, in an operational 24/7 environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication and numeracy skills. A passion for dealing with people and a focus to achieve employee satisfaction. Knowledge of best practice Health and Safety standards are essential.
