Full Job Description

To successfully complete sales ledger and banking reconciliation activities to a high standard and on a timely basis and to also support on purchase ledger, alongside other areas of responsibility for the finance team, as required.,

  • Raising and processing sales ledger invoices

  • Matching invoices to banking receipts and remittances

  • Allocating and coding cash and invoices as appropriate

  • To support the deliverables of the broader finance team. To include, but not limited to: Processing purchase ledger invoices

  • Arranging for payment of purchase ledger invoices to agreed terms

  • Liaising with suppliers as appropriate

  • Supporting other month end activities

  • Ad hoc support to the FC and other members of the finance team, as needed, The successful apprentice will work towards a Level 2 Accounts/Finance Assistant apprenticeship standard, as well as Functional Skills maths and English if needed. Day to day training will be conducted by the employer.
