Salary: £33,576 to £38,721 Per Annum Including London Weighting

The Royal Veterinary College (RVC) is seeking to recruit an Alumni Engagement Executive reporting to the Head of Engagement (Alumni, Community & Public) & Events, within the Directorate of External Relations. The post is based at Bolton Park Farm, one of our Hertfordshire Campuses near Potters Bar. Some travel to our London campus in Camden will be required and occasionally to event venues.

The ideal candidate will be a key member of the team supporting the delivery of the RVC’s Alumni Engagement Strategy. The role will focus on engaging our alumni to become life-long members of the RVC community and foster a culture of support for the RVC. The postholder will, through a range of engaging communications, develop excellent relationships with alumni by delivering content through established communications platforms including - news, events, fundraising and volunteering opportunities. You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of activities in support of this work.

We are looking for a team player who can prioritise work to deadlines and maintain high levels of professionalism sometimes working to tight deadlines and always delivering high levels of customer service. You will need excellent communication skills as well as a proactive, hands-on approach with a ‘people-focused’ outlook and a positive, enthusiastic mindset. Candidates will preferably have experience of working in Higher Education or a membership environment with alumni or members.
