The Vertical Lift Supplier Management and Procurement team has an exciting position within our Aircraft support team as "Aircraft Parts And Services Procurement Agent."

This is an individual contributor position in a growing global organization. The individual will partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to expand our service delivery model while ensuring service delivery excellence to all business partners.

The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. He or she must be flexible to accommodate business requirements that span multiple time zones and may require travel, having international experience working with diverse groups and cultures will be an added advantage.

The candidate also will have strong communication skills. He or she must be able to maintain positive relationships with leadership and all levels of the organization.

Position Responsibilities :

Negotiating contracts for products, services and technologies.

Engaging stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, product and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.

Negotiating pricing and contract terms and conditions.

Preparing and executing negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements. Optimizing execution of the supply chain balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand.

Managing supplier / subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance.

Mitigating risks, issues and opportunities. Initiating supplier improvement activities and provides results for integration into contracting strategies.

Preparing and executing proprietary information agreements.

Supporting sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.

Communicating performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.

Managing Boeing Drawings and Engineering data in order aid suppliers for manufacture.

The successful candidate will need to be adaptable and a creative problem solver with the ability to liaise and work alongside a number of functional subject areas to help develop and form the strategic supply chain approach to support the programme.

Demonstrated understanding of either :

  • Build to Print (BTP), Fabrication, Modification, Machining and / or BTP Electronics / harnesses;

  • Ground support equipment (GSE), tooling and test equipment calibration and service procurement;


  • Aircraft General Spares (AGS), Hazardous and Raw Material procurement

    2-4 years of relevant experience

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP / ERP knowledge.

    Analytical Skills & tool development for sustainability initiatives

    High attention to detail and consistent track record to lead multiple, contending priorities simultaneously.

    Preferred Qualifications :

    Engineering background preferred and / or knowledge of estimating, technical drawing understanding.

    CIPS Accreditation, Interpersonal skills and customer focus are crucial to be successful in the role
